A unique and exciting way to elevate your garden, you’ll love our Corten Steel Planting Bowl. Perfect for creating luscious displays of your favourite plants or for making floral arrangements dedicated to a theme. For example, you could fill a bowl with succulents and alpine plants such as sedum, sempervivum or creeping thyme to give a rustic look or perhaps bee friendly plants to create a dedicated wildlife zone in your garden. Available in three sizes from small to large to suit any garden, balcony or terraced planting space. Furthermore, if you want to access new levels in your garden, why not pair the bowl with one of our Corten Steel Pedestals to give added height to your set-up. Another fantastic feature of our Corten Steel Planting Bowl is that it is incredibly weather resistant and durable. Fabricated from 3 mm gauge Corten Steel, it is built to last. This means you can have it sitting safely outside for you to enjoy for years to come. With drainage holes built in and a stand built into the bowl, you can get planting straight away and let time and the weather get to work rusting your steel.
Corten Steel weathering – how it works:
- Please Note: Corten products can arrive at any stage of weathering. We cannot guarantee what level they will be or even if multiple items ordered at the same time will all be at the same level. Unweathered areas of your planter will be the colour of freshly manufactured steel, with a dark oily coating.
- As your Corten Steel planter begins to weather, the oily residue will break down.
- Your planter will begin to change gradually to uniform orange-brown. Please be aware that ‘run-off’ may stain stone or concrete surfaces and bear this in mind when deciding where to place your planter.
- After 9 months, your planter should be almost entirely rust-coloured. Please be aware that run-off may still occur for several months after the uniform rust colour has been achieved.

The great thing about these new pegs, is that they eliminate the need for welding/bolting that our original pegs require, meaning you can have beautiful borders in minutes!
