Copper worktops and splashbacks should be cleaned with water and a mild detergent (such as washing-up liquid or mild soap). For the best results use specific copper cleaning products and avoid using bleach (which you won’t need anyway because of copper’s antimicrobial properties).

Copper does not like acids or salt, so if a spillage occurs, rinse immediately with fresh water and then dry with a soft cloth.
