When it comes into contact with moisture, Corten gradually changes from blue-grey to a vibrant, rust-coloured orange. Although it looks like rust, this outer coating actually protects the core metal on the inside from corrosion. Important Information PLEASE NOTE: Although Montreal is shown as being in stock and available to order, each water wall is made to order with a production lead time of approximately 6-7 weeks. Corten Steel weathering – how it works:

1. Please Note: Corten products can arrive at any stage of weathering. We cannot guarantee what level they will be or even if multiple items ordered at the same time will all be at the same level. Unweathered areas of your water featurewill be the colour of freshly manufactured steel, with a dark oily coating.
2. As your Corten steel water feature begins to weather, the oily residue will break down.
3. Your water feature will begin to change gradually to uniform orange-brown. Please be aware that ‘run-off’ may stain stone or concrete surfaces and bear this in mind when deciding where to place your feature.
4. After 9 months, your water feature should be almost entirely rust-coloured. Please be aware that run-off may still occur for several months after the uniform rust colour has been achieved.

Introducing Neptune: a neat-easy-to-install water feature ready to transform your outdoor space. Crafted from high-quality Corten steel, this beautiful water feature looks good and is built to last. Corten steel starts life blue-grey in colour, and gradually 'weathers' to a vivid orange patina over several months. Although this new finish is the colour of rust, it actually protects the steel within from decay. Enjoy the sound of gently bubbling water as Neptune pumps it through a central, stainless steel nozzle. The water spreads evenly across the surface of the table and right to its edges, giving an infinity effect. After dark, the magic continues, thanks to LED lighting. Calming and stylish, Neptune makes a stunning addition to any garden, patio, courtyard or terrace. Pump has a 2 pin plug, but is supplied with a UK adaptor. We recommend taking professional advice from an electrician prior to installation. To prevent limescale, the pH of the water in this water feature should be 7 (neutral); products to ensure this can be bought from a garden centre. To avoid stains or irregular rust on the water table, it must be unpacked immediately after delivery so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not sealed.
